- A theatre piece by Lene Skytt. I designed the sound scenography.
I often find theatre sound to be boring and sort of "left hand work", where the light technician just presses play/pause on a cd player. So I approached this task like I would have had it been a computer game, designing interactive sound scapes for each scene rather than just fixed sound effects and music.
This way I could experiment with filling in different music, background and effect sounds during the rehearsal proces to see how it helped the actors and the mood of the particular scenes.
It turned out to work really well, and by doing it this way it was also easy for me to manage the rather complex final sound scape in a dynamic way using a laptop and a midicontroller. I used Ableton Live as my main software.

The soundscape is based on found sounds from one september night in Oslo, Norway.
